Melissa’s photography adventure initially began in high school at Brownell-Talbot in Omaha, NE rolling film and working in the darkroom as the yearbook editor. She stayed local for college, attending the University of NE Omaha; earning a business degree with an emphasis in Real Estate and Land Use Development and Marketing. In 2006 she started her first photography studio endeavor. Since then, she has worked with hundreds of clients, ventured to small towns, trekked up steep mountains, plated tasty food for shoots, and been welcomed into clients’ homes and offices. She has had the opportunity to capture amazing moments from when life’s journey begins at birth to couples saying I do, and even final family photos before a loved one passes; milestones, birthdays, business openings, corporate events, silly moments when we have a good laugh and serious ones that bring reflection. Thousands upon thousands of shutter clicks that have frozen time along the way. No matter what it is that she is capturing, there is vision and purpose to each shot. “It is an honor to have someone enter through my studio doors or meet me on location. Come, sit down on a stool or we can take a walk and chat a while as I shoot. Share your story, we’ll capture a few images and you’ll become part of my journey as a photographer.”

Since her start in the industry in 1993 this makeup artist, hair stylist and wardrobe professional’s career has led her all over the country working on commercial print ads, fashion editorials, television commercials and films, and her work has been seen in virtually every major magazine. As a result of her talent and her positive reputation, for the past 17 years, Elizabeth has worked all over the United States and Europe styling models, actors, celebrities, professional athletes, newscasters, corporate heads and politicians. She says the changing nature of each job is one of the reasons she stays passionate about her profession. “I can’t see myself doing anything else.” Elizabeth is always open to new challenges, which she meets with characteristic good humor and enthusiasm.
